On the RecordRanks platform, a space is a sports organisation or community managed by a paying customer (owner). Each space has its own members, competitions, list of events, competitors, and other content, and is managed independently by its owner(s).

- Private Spaces: If a space is private, only invited members may view its data, except for private details (e.g. email), which are only visible to the owners and moderators of the space.
- Space Owners: Authorised space owners may access competitor details (e.g. name, country of representation, email, username) for their own space to manage competitions and enforce rules.
- Third-Party Services: We use the following third-party services to provide functionality:
- Plausible Analytics (for anonymised, aggregated analytics)
- Sweego (for transactional emails)
- TrustCaptcha (for fraud prevention)
- Legal authorities if required by law or to protect our rights or the rights of others
- Professional advisors (such as lawyers, auditors, or consultants) when strictly necessary
